Habitat Enhancement at Barber Park

May 1, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

In a bold move to improve the ecological health of Barber Park and the Boise River, Ada County Parks and Waterways cut down more than 600 invasive trees February 18-20. The first-of-its-kind project along the Boise River was funded by Golden Eagle Audubon Society and BREN provided guidance. Project mastermind Alan Crockett and Roger Rosentreter, Ph.D. will talk about the problem with invasive trees and the benefits of the project. Ada County parks and Waterways Director Scott Koberg will talk about ongoing and future habitat management at Barber Park.

The program starts at 11:45. Please join the meeting starting at 11:30 to learn about Zoom and “chat” with other attendees.

Please Note: This online program is limited to 100 attendees, but it will be recorded and the recording will be available here soon after the program ends. Thanks for understanding.
