Climate Action and River Health with City of Boise

Climate change is impacting the Boise River. Snow pack, river flows, irrigation demand, water temperature, algae growth and riparian ecology are some of the areas that are impacted. The City of Boise has adopted a Climate Action Roadmap that describes steps they will take to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions and build resiliency. Steve Hubble, City of Boise Climate Action Manager and Haley Falconer, Environmental Manager will talk about the Roadmap and the associated actions related to water resources and the Boise River.
