Boise River Enhancement Success Stories

Learn about four innovative projects that are enhancing the ecological health of the Boise River. Kevin Fagan, Stormwater Quality Specialist at Ada County Highway District (ACHD) will talk about street projects that are helping traffic flow and water quality. Mike Dimmick, Flood Control District 10, will talk about streambank stabilization projects that enhance habitat. Tom Johnston, Farmers’ Co-op Ditch Company, will talk about their 8.8-acre sediment basin in Parma. Angela Rossman, Harris Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Association, will talk about native plants and pollinators. Bring your bag lunch. The program will start at 11:45 am.
