The Boise River Watershed Watch is a great program where a Team Leader and a group of citizen scientists monitor a site along the Boise River to see how good the water quality is. More than 20 sites from Lucky Peak to Caldwell will be monitored for Dissolved Oxygen, pH, turbidity, temperature, bacteria, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Phosphorus (TP), macroinvertebrates, and invasive species. BREN is looking for Citizen Scientists to help at one of our two sites (Linder Bridge site #29 or Star Rd. Bridge site #25). This is a great way to get your kids engaged in science!
